17 November 2026 17:30 to 18:45 17 Nov In this presentation, Dr. Mairéad Hurley and Dr. Marianne Achiam argue that current science education reforms remain superficial because they fail to address the modernist logics of control, separability, and human exceptionalism embedded in the science discipline itself. Drawing on emerging practices in fields ranging from holobiont biology to anticolonial research, the speakers demonstrate how contemporary science is already shifting toward relationality, uncertainty, and intelligences beyond the human.
