Just what is it that makes London so different, so appealing? What makes London feel like London? Is it the Thames winding through the city, the jumble of old and new buildings, the distinct character of its neighbourhoods, or the way London has repeatedly rebuilt and reinvented itself? Join architect Eric Parry for a wide-ranging exploration of the forces that have shaped London and continue to change it today. Taking inspiration from Richard Hamilton’s famous 1956 collage, Just what is it that makes today’s homes so different, so appealing?, Eric will turn the question towards the capital.
