Join Andrew Jaffre, Professor of Astrophysics and Cosmology at Imperial College London, at New Malden Library where he will discuss his book The Random Universe. The Random Universe is a popular science book trying to ask and answer the question, “How do we know what we know?”, about the world (and people) around us as well as about the Universe on the largest imaginable scales — how have we been able to learn about the Big Bang while we sit here on our little planet? Books will be available to purchase after the talk. Tea and coffee provided.
