A passing place is designed for movement. It is not a destination, but a temporary widening of the path where different journeys meet, negotiate space and continue. In this lecture, Rozana Montiel asks what happens when architecture is understood as something that emerges from movement not as the opposite of movement. What if places are defined not by permanence, but by their capacity to adapt, transform and accommodate different forms of inhabitation?
