In this talk, Professor Anna De Fina explores the relationship between mobility, polycentricity, and linguistic repertoires in the communicative practices of young migrants in digital spaces. Drawing on a sociolinguistic approach centred on mobility, it starts from the premise that mobility entails not simply the movement of people and linguistic resources across geographical spaces, but also their insertion into different social and communicative contexts, where linguistic resources acquire different meanings and values.
