6 January - 3 February 2027, Online Is the Book of Revelation a terrifying vision of the future, a dangerous fantasy, or a radical political manifesto? In this course you will get to know the most controversial book of the Bible, learn why it was so important to the early Quakers, and how to make sense of it in today's world. You will learn what an 'apocalypse' is, and who Revelation was originally written for. We will discuss the violence of Revelation, and how queer and feminist readers have responded to this book.
