Overview Every year, the Transport Planning Society celebrates ‘Transport Planning Day’ to highlight the vital role transport planning plays in shaping places, improving connectivity, and enhancing people’s lives. We also celebrate transport planners and showcase best practice from across the profession. This year, the campaign focuses on planning and delivering an integrated transport system that connects policy, places, and people. Integration will be essential to ensure networks are sustainable, efficient, and accessible, without leaving communities behind or worsening existing inequalities.
