3 - 17 December 2026, online This course explores historical and theological research undertaken by Woodbrooke in response to the 2022 Britain Yearly Meeting minute, which invited Friends to reflect on Quaker involvement in enslavement and trafficking and consider possible reparations The minute prompted Friends to consider the role Quakers have historically played in the trafficking and enslavement of African people and people of African descent, and the reparations Quakers might make for their complicity in these harms.
